Anyone can share what is this? I saw this device shown under my network adapter settings for my desktop. I thought its a pci-e wifi card and tried connecting to my wifi networks but keep unable to connect.

meanwhile, my usb wifi adaptor has no issues connecting to my wifi networks.

not the fastest Wifi5 option. Perhaps a driver needs to be updated?

if your usb wifi works and you are happy with it, then all is good.

Are you using one of these Lenovo ThinkPad Laptops (E470, E570, E475, E575)?

It could be the PCI-E Wifi Card but failed to work due to incorrect or driver not installed. You may want to try to download the driver to install. See Lenovo website.

If not above, do advice details of your Equipment and Operating System etc.

I did tried installing both drivers from realtek website and the lenovo link shared in the post earlier. Still couldn't work. My TP-Link USB wifi adapter's connection keeps dropping off randomly on a daily basis. Thats why I wanted to see if this realtek is a functional wifi card.

Go to Gigabyte Support website and download the relevant drivers:

If after installed the Realtek driver still not working, you may want to check and install other motherboard drivers particularly the Chipset.

According to your motherboard spec has the Onboard Dual Band 802.11ac Wireless & BT 4.2 with WIFI Antenna. Most likely driver was not installed properly or incorrect driver causing it failed to be activated. Download all the latest drivers from the motherboard support site and try.

ah, earlier you said that the usb wifi adapter is working fine....

on driver issues, did the card ever work from day 1? if so, if it is not hardware, then the driver is corrupted or overwrittedn.
since this is a gigabyte mobo, suggest follow instructions per post by @lilycll

Ensure the antenna is properly connected to the motherboard too. Otherwise even with proper driver installed, you may not be able to connect to your network router due to poor or no signal.

Take screenshot and share the Device Manager screen (found under Control Panel) particularly the Network Adapter that has an exclamation mark beside. Refer sample screenshot:
