I just bought a top load LG 13kg Direct Drive Washer.

Upgraded from LG 10kg top load Direct Drive Washer after 8 years. The old washer started to make loud sounds when washing. So decided to buy new one in case it totally fails on me.

Did I make a wrong choice? Please advise.

Another thing, the delivery man reused my previous inlet pipe cos he said the new machine inlet pipe not compatible with my water tap. Got such thing?!

What are the good features or function of a washing machine that I must look out for ? eg is the 4 ticks important ? Some only 3. One cheap model I saw is 'Non Inverter'. Some say inverter, some say d-invert. Things like this got me confused what is really needed or what is good to have. I'm looking for a top loading.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
