anyone has driver contacts from kenting to hua lien? how long does it take to drive from kenting to hua lien?

It takes around 5.5 hours from Kenting to Hualien from my personal experience.

Still finding driver that able to go those attractions. But the cheapest i found cost around NT$3200 for 2 persons and only bring ard 4 places. While another driver quote me NT$4000 but able to go those places that i mention... But only me and my friend going, not too sure whether worth it to engage driver or just take public transport...

sometimes it is not good for quotation of too cheap....

I engaged two drivers for my recent trip to Taiwan in June and I am happy with the service provided.
Hualien:- CJ CHEN mobile +886920669234 Fluent in English and very friendly.I would have given him full marks if not for the fact that he told me Chisingtan is out of the way n we probably will not be able to go. Other than that he brought us to all the places that we wanted to go. he recommended us a very good n cheap Japanese eatery. when we said we wanted to buy wine , he drove us to a liquor shop. appreciate this gesture n I actually tipped him 5000NT.
Jiufen n Shifen trip:- Meeky Yang mobile 0921915586 More comfortable with Mandarin but he can speak n understand English. very friendly n obliging too. Also would have given him full marks if he did not recommend me the restaurant at Yehliu. that meal was the worst we had in Taiwan expensive n like ****. other that he is a very good driver to engaged; very responsible n punctual. on the last day he actually took the effort to send me off although it was his rest day when the friend he recommended not contact me to confirm.
Both are good drivers to engage;no worries of being short-changed. my advice is to tell them exactly the places that you definitely want to cover before the actual day .Hope the info helps.

When u r at hualien, look for 紀展男 ：0921 633238, just drop him a call when you are in Taiwan, tell him 小周介绍的。
We engaged his service for 7 pax on Thurs for taroko n qingshui cliff. Very engaging person and super knowledgeable. Took care of my aged granny throughout the trip.

Wanted a day at taroko and another day at hualien-taitung coast, but due to weather, we have to retreat earlier.

Though we paid a little more, the trip was fantastic and worthy, i am sure you may be paying lesser by engaging a taxi driver at train station, but service could be questionable.

If u hail a cab randomly, you pay about 2500-2800NT for an 8-9 hour service.

Above, we paid about 4K, as it was a much more bigger transport and new vehicle, not the lao kok kok type.
