Recommend Cab Driver

I feel it is better to get different drivers -

You experience different drivers so you know which are the ones you'll come back to, which are the ones you won't recommend to others.

Getting a driver who resides at the respective county/city is cheaper than getting a driver who lives in eg, Hualien to drive to Taipei to pick you up to tour Taipei attractions.

Of course getting one driver for everything may be more convenient.

Will let the sexperts advise too.

I agree it is better to engage different drivers. Based on the different quotes I received, I think it will generally be more cost-saving.

isst near banqiao interchange?? if yes, u can consider taking TRA or HSR
banqiao consider xin tpe city area, think cab fare ard NT $1.5k- $2k

In Taipei now.
My pte cab booking rate from airport to hotel at shilin is 800nt.

Drivers arranged for me are quite friendly, on time and do their homework of the places I arranged for them to bring us to. That's another booking rate.

I'm now in Taiwan. Booked Xiao Yi's taxi service for transport from Taichung to Starry. Before confirmation, he already informed me that he won't be my driver and he could arrange for someone to fetch me. I'm fine with the stand-in driver arrangement but told him I had found another cheaper quote. He offered to match the price but i declined it at first as I could easily go to the other driver. He insisted he could help me arrange so he actually saved me the trouble of going to the other driver. I can't comment about Xiao Yi since I didn't use his service but I can feel he is genuine about providing transport services.

The stand-in driver arrived 10 minutes before the appointed time and everything went smoothly.

I dunno if it applies to anyone.. as Xiao yi sound more like an agent than cab driver.So far most comments are after booking a day trip.He will arrange stand by drivers to take over. Not many actually received his service. For me, I would prefer to talk to the driver tat will be driving me around and not some last min stand in driver. IMO
