prices start from 3k to 3.5k for a 8 - 12 hr tour. u can look for mr jiang.. very good

for one thing. its far. u should try to start from hualien then to he huan shan then cj - taichung - taipei. its could be cheaper from cj on.. u no need a tour or car... u can arrange ur self. its nomally at least 4 person

I engaged Ah Hao for a one day tour around Yehliu, Keelung, Jiufen and Shifen recently. Reliable, responsible and fun driver, highly recommended!

I engaged Ah Hao for my trip in November this year, he's nice and reliable. Acts as tour guide, photographer, brought us to clean toilets (important for lady travelers), was accommodating and helpful. Down to earth and fun guy, I recommend him.

Thanks for recommending the bus option. Think we will be prefer to get a cab driver if possible. As we will be spending our time for photography. It will be easier for us to get around places.


Will someone share who will be a good driver, with good knowledge of the place and willingly to be earlier to avoid the hordes of tourist bus, as we will be spending weekend in hualien just for taroko.

I will be going Taiwan next week. Anybody have cheaper and good cab driver to intro for 2 pax. want to travel from Alishan to Cing Jing on 9th January. Would like to know what is the lowest rate i can get?

Alternatively, anyone would like to share cab with us from taipei to alishan on 8th Jan and Alishan to Cing Jing on 9th Jan.
