In the end I got a ducky shine 5 from pc themes... Trying the clear white for a change. They still have a mx red left for 179. Cheapest in sls

Anyway I've been using the cherry nature white for a day now. Seems a little too stiff for my liking. Not sure if I should have gone for reds instead?

I used to use a Filco Majestouch 2 with Cherry MX red switches. Now, I use a Leopold FC660C and am looking to my next Topre keyboard - possibly a Realforce 87UB with 55g uniform actuation. Once you go Topre, you can never go back! but oh, what an expensive hobby this is becoming...

just curious, u prefer leopold or filco? how similar are they? i am looking to get the cherry brown

I have a leopold and a filco. If you want honest opinion i can tell you this. The build quality on the filco is one notch higher than leopold. Not saying leopold is poor or what, it's still a very well build KB. But the Filco is simply on another level in term of build quality. Period.

I have a leopold and a filco. If you want honest opinion i can tell you this. The build quality on the filco is one notch higher than leopold. Not saying leopold is poor or what, it's still a very well build KB. But the Filco is simply on another level in term of build quality. Period.

My experience with Filco last time wasn't very good though. Granted, it was one of the early MJ2s. The plastic creaked when I pressed down the sides. And even on PS/2 there wasn't NKRO support when numlock was enabled. The Ducky that I'm using now seems to be of surprisingly higher quality.

I was looking at a IKBC the other day. Seems decent, with Cherry MX switches for under $100 after shipping. The only 'flaw' is that the menu button becomes the fn key and there doesn't seem to be any dip switches to resolve it.

I was thinking the same thing, lol...

but given that he just praised Filco to be better then leopold, should be leopold lowest, then flico highest. but then again, ducky is better then leopold? I always thought it was the other way around.
