i've no experience with the cheaper chinese boards so i can't comment. but I believe there was a discussion on it a couple pages back, maybe you can check those out.

just sharing a personal experience - i spilled coffee all over my cooler master keyboard once and the keyboard is still working (keys became sticky though because there was sugar).

It was a limited discussion so couldn't really decide from there. So I took the plunge and ordered a cheap ETimes water proof Red RGB keyboard for about $60. Even if I don't like the construction of the keyboard in the end, I figured I should be able to yank the switches off and replace the ones on my Tecware :s13:

Super happy with it, first time feeling the smoothness of the cherry mx red and highly quality pbt key caps. Complete 360 change from the Logitech g413 it replaces. Much much higher quality!!

Bought from xtreme solution on Lazada on 22nd, delivered on 25th.

Thanks to all who recommended Leopold!

Glad you like it as well. Quality wise, it cannot be put into the same sentence as the keyboards made by corsair, logitech, razor etc. Those "gamer" keyboard are targeted towards a different audience with priorities and needs like shinning lights and 1001 marcos.

Just look at the spacebar lined with sound damping felt....and how the thick keycap is.

Using Cherry Reds too, but after getting to know more about switches. Cherry Reds are scratchy. It gets better after lubing but Gateron switches are smoother stock. Glad to see you have upgraded massively though!

tbf razer huntsman te has pretty thick pbt keycaps, rgb lighting, and a super smooth switch (because optical).

search leopold fc660m on lzd. btw no backlight. if you would like backlight, ducky is probably the way to go

Bought from Xtreme Solution on Lazada, $189. As with Lazada, always find credit cards or vouchers that gives a few more % off.

No RGB, there is a red led that lights up when Capslock is on though. As user Vamprose suggested, i was looking also at the Ducky one 2 SF which has a similar layout and it has RGB lighting. But am loving the understated high quality style of this Leopold.

Nice! Yea i'm still getting used to these red switches, its silent enough for me and already a big upgrade. Was debating getting these normal Reds or Silent Reds.

Only thing i'm not feeling is the space bar on rebound, feels a bit loud with sort of a low vibration, even my SO commented that the space bar is unusually loud.

Am however curious if i'll prefer the MX browns more. But shall hold off further poison for now.

always nice to have another Leopold fan. I have one at work, one at home (actually two at home because I spilled liquids. sigh yes bad silly mistake ._.)

@wert - is the foam in the spacebar new? don't remember seeing it with my FC980M or FC750R

wish there was a Leopold model that kept the numpad without eating into the right shift, enter, etc. buttons

Anybody tried RK61 compact wireless BT mech keyboard with RGB lighting ? Integrated with 750mAh battery that slated for 10hrs usage. Can choose blue, brown or red switches.

Saw it at taobao for RMB 189.
