Any key ghosting issue?

Press once but output multiple times key

Finally got my cheap Taobao keyboard hoot (Eastern Times Tech T I-119 https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=614760024866).

The red keys are definitely way quieter and closer to the laptop feel that I like. Not sure if it is a standard thing but the light controls using Fn + 6 keys is basically the same as the Tecware Phantom.

Bought 110 pieces of Outemu Silent Greys switches already. $16.50 only. That's like 15cents a piece.

Looking at this thread reminds me of how far the rabbit hole I have gone now. 5 GMK sets, multiple keyboards, resins, multiple GBs entries ... sigh

Not sure if it helps you like it did to me.
Use alcohol 70~99%. Drip it into the mechanical keyboard buttons and air it overnight. Make sure it is fully dry and do not flood it. Clean out the dust as much as you can.

Key chattering issue right?

if I would like to get a custom keyboard that:
1) lets me swaps different switches of all makes
2) simple backlight, eg whit, or blue, etc
3) USB type c, with passthru or not, not important
4) comes with wireless connectivy will be good

what are the cheapest options I can look at? :o

Try Holy panda switches??????
Haha I've been testing out on my Kailh switch tester and realised that I actually like linears

Was thinking of trying the novelkey creams but might try to get a couple of testers before buying all 60

Just to put it out here.

Just gotten a tecware phantom elite TKL for modding.
Pretty impressed with this cheap board, the inside even comes with foam padding.

Hi guys, completely new to this.

I was looking to get a 96 custom pcb with wired and wireless ability with a nice case(something that is aluminum and able to show the RGB).

Any recommendations?

My Outemu Silent Grey switches have arrived.

Comparing to Outemu Browns,
it's way more stable than the brown, the stem itself is less shaky as compared to brown.
The tactile bump feels way more defined than browns, but overall the silent grey switches are way more silent than the browns (duh, it's in the name lol).
Actuation force seems roughly similar to me? Can't really that that few grams of differences (if any).

Overall, i like it.
Paid $16.32 (from ezbuy) for 110 switches, and add $1.69 shipping from CN to SG. Did self collect. $18.01 for 110 switches, or 16.372 cents per switch. 100% worth it to me.

Just bought some PBT Keycaps from carousell, hopefully it arrives soon and i'm good to go! My next item to lookout for is Tecware Phantom Elite TKL board. But since i don't need the switches and keycaps, will just slowly wait for someone to sell the casing+pcb only. Hopefully can it cheaply.
