[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

went to buy a Razer BWX Chroma

Understand there are alot of haters for Razer and how Cherry MX switches are more superior. I went to the shop and played with the keyboarda and I quite like how the keys feel like. Hope I din make a bad decision

I'm using BWX chroma tournament edition as my main kb as well. Didn't manage to get the G910 Orion Spectrum from the Qoo10 sale so settled for BWX chroma tournamen edition and I didn't regret my decision.

How long have u used the BMX chroma? I read that people were complaining that the keyboard breaks down after a short while.

I too was considering Logitech and it's RomerG keys. I initially ordered the G410 from Amazon, but in the end went to challenger to test out the G910 (also with RomerG keys). Somehow I can't seems to like the feel. To my layman fingers, it feels like a standard membrane keyboard.

So in the end cancelled my order.

About 2-3 months. I didn't get to try the G910 but liked the design so wanted to give it a try. 1 thing I don't like about BWX is the lack of a wrist rest. Should've waited for the BWX V2 that has an included wrist rest :(

Exact feelings when I tried the romerG as well..

Hi guys, currently I have shortlisted a few mechanical keyboard. K70 Straft , K70 RGB, Creative Vanguard k08 and Roccat Ryos MK FX. Not sure which one would you guys recommend ? I am currently using Logitech G105. Would like to have the clicky sound. Is the red switch the one to go for ?

Clicky = Blue switch, if you dont mind china brand can consider magic force. I bought 3 of it from taobao very pleased with it so far

Red is not clicky at all..in fact there is no click, just the sound of the key itself bottoming out at the end of the stroke. I am not familiar with the other choices, but between K70 RGB and K70 strafe...if you can afford more, just get the K70 RGB. But if you want clickiness...go with the blue (and maybe green) cherry mx switches.

IMO i find the constant clicking super irritating esp when considered over long periods of time. Make 100% sure that you (and the people around you) do not mind the sound before buying

For me, I use the headset when i game. So, in the end, i hardly can hear the clicking sound. So, if u use a headset, the clicking keys is some what redundant :s22:
