My rig is a bit dated now and still rocking a GTX1070 even though I had just swapped out the mobo last year due to it KO'ing
Intel i5-10400F 2.90GHz
Asus prime b460m-a
Palit Gtx1070
Teamgroup elite+ ddr4 2x8GB 3200MHz RAM
Although I don't usually play high spec games, I want my new rig to be able to handle Unreal Engine 5 easily plus in future maybe stuff like Elden Ring with good FPS/high refresh rate.
This means I will likely need to go all the way with RTX 3080Ti or 3090, 128GB RAM with strong processor with lots of cores, good thing that GPU prices coming down now. SSD as well.
Any advice on what set up that would be worthwhile but not being too expensive - and also easy to maintain i.e. not consuming too much power, generate too much heat? Don't intend to do water cooling as its too troublesome for me.
Also, should I consider going for Aftershock instead? I'm feeling a bit lazy to assemble own PC these days and having to troubleshoot PC issues.
