Recommend on Intel Build (wait for GPU)

Hi everyone, my gaming laptop just retired after 5 years using so I'm now have to move to invest in my first DIY PC rig. Since the GPU price heat is on the verge of lowering. i decide to go with an Intel rig with integrated graphics.
The only thing to concern is I will bring the rig with me oversea so I'll have to sell some like mobo, heatsink, PSU, case, case fans and monitor
.
My budget
Without GPU, Monitor, SSD and HDD: 1000-1300 SGD

Purpose for the rig:
- Single player games (Call of Duty, Battlefields, PES, FIFA, Cities Skylines (a lot of mods), Rimworld (a lot of mods), Stellaris, AC series, Victoria, EU4, Crusader)
- Light Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects

Here is what I'm looking for (NO RGB):
- Intel CPU (Integrated graphics)
Long-term, I'm thinking Intel i5 or i7. Not sure about overclocking, never try before.
- Motherboard
Short-term, WiFi needed!! Or maybe Wireless card
- 16GB of RAM, thinking Corsair Vengeance.
Aim for cheap and reliable, NO RGB
- Air cooling/heatsink
Noctua seems not widely available in Singapore or I don't know where to find one. So I'm looking for alternative for great cooling and silent!!! I'm not a fan of water cooling.
- PSU (Gold certified)
Planning for a 3060Ti or 3070, short term, will sell when move oversea, used?
- Casing and Case fans
Cheap, short term, Mid tower, used?
- Monitor
Not too large, 22 to 24 inch is more than enough. I can go with 2nd monitor, I don't play online FPS, used?
- SSD: I'll go with SAMSUNG EVO 980
- HDD: I have a spare Seagate 2TB from my gaming laptop

Lastly:
I'm looking at Tradepac, Fuwell and Dynacore as my place to buy. Is there any other places to be considered? Recommendation on the used components so I know what to hunt? Any other sources to hunt used components besides HWZ?

Sorry but to ask what is the time frame you remain in SG before moving oversea? If the timing too short you might have time pressure and low ball by buyer for your new system.

Why not continue to invest in a better gaming notebook for long term purposes?

Possibly the end of 2022 if I can't find a job after graduating. But currently I don't think I'll invest in another CPU for the next 5-6 years, that's why I'm aiming for (almost)-latest CPU, with 8 cores to sustain the need. If CPU technology advances a lot, I may think about selling it and buy a new one, my vision right now is try to use the CPU and GPU for at least 5 years.
But I'm sure I'll not tell the seller my situation, I'll just tell them I need "these, these and these", deal price and buy lah...I know telling my story will make me lose the stand to deal the price. I'm putting my story here hoping you guys can help me recommend the most suitable for the thing because I have been researching (not enough I guess) but can't come up with the final build for other components.

I'm neglected in buying another gaming laptop since I had a Surface for studying and other things that I can bring, and I don't take my gaming laptop with me everyday, not to say forever, the retired laptop stayed at home like 99% of the time. And the laptop died after 5 years, due to motherboard failure, which killed the whole system, nothing to savage but SSD and HDD (thankful for that) and I want to have flexibility in upgrading in the future.

Yes, I do have some in mind, but I would want to see some further recommendation, especially on Mid ATX Mobo, PSU and casing. (Since I'm not intended to invest heavily to mobo, I won't buy a bundle...) But I might put more money on PSU since I know it's important and extremely vital.

Try to get the K variant. The non-Ks do not boost as high and a lower base clock. K variants you can always overclock if you wanna try to give you another 5-10%.

Agreed if TS can increase some budget as local cost for k-variant for +$100 range going for K-variant might also need to change mobo to z-series too to take advantages of the OC.

I also went for a 8 cores 16 threads 10700, esp if i do not plan to change in the next 5 yrs. My current 4770 already last me like 5-6yrs, so i believe 10700 can last me the same amount of time too. Mine is the non K cos i do not need to overclock. If you just want to have a peace of mind, higher clock speed, then just go for the K.

I believe I will stay with the non-K variants since I have never tried OC. And it's not on my mind right now. And I'm planning to save me plenty more money for the GPU later so I'll stick with the normal variants.

• S$189 _ Seasonic Focus GX-750 750W 80+Gold (I'm thinking cutting it to 650W but price different is only S$10, seems not worth it?)
• S$49 _ Case TECWARE NEXUS M MATX W/TG (this one is cheapest...should I? hahaha)

This one sums up: $1,188

• S$219 _ Samsung 980 Pro (Try to squeeze in a new (NVMe) SSD)

• S$169 _ AOC 21.5" 22B1HS 60HZ IPS MONITOR (PC Theme) (I'm not sure with this, please feel free to recommend any that under around $150. I don't need high refresh rate or big monitor, around 23 and below is good enough!)

And with this I still have S$800 for my GPU (Total $2,500), looking at 3060Ti.
What do you guys think? Should I cut or spend more on anything? Yes, I will try and hunt for discount on these!

suggest u get from amazon, no need to be specifically corsair vengeance either. u can get the same exact kit for $120 on amazon, or spend $15 more for a crucial ballistix kit at 3600mhz.

tradepac sells the gx650 for 140 last time i checked. also please have more budget for the case, recently switched from the nexus m and temperatures have been way better. would suggest getting something like the silverstone ps15 or cooler master nr400.

On the other hand, I read about Tradepac being out of stock a lot of time, PC Theme and Dynacore is my other options but their price can have $100~150 difference in total.
In the case I can't get all the above from (Tradepac) list, should I just go around different shops and buy separately? Or should I try to buy as much of the list as possible from one shop to ask for more discount? Or should I call them and ask for stock availability?
I also see people recommend finding Yi Long from PC Theme, Abdul from Dynacore. Do I just walk in and ask...is it weird to brush off one of the staff that approach me and ask for the Famous guy?

The Samsung SSD you can get locally like Challenger as SLS at same around $128.
Casing can get the new Cooler Master MB600L V2 at $79.

The Seasonic pricing for Focus GX-650 I don't think is $148, most shops now are selling at $180.
$148 is Focus GX-550 model but you can ask around for the GX-650 model.
RAM wise why not consider buy local as well as, example Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 16GB
at $155.

Between DDR4-3200 and DDR4-3600, difference is very marginal but DDR4-3200 have a lower
latency. As well as for RAM if you buy locally, any issue which will happened with RAM over a long period of time.

Can just send to local distro RMA and if they have stock they can just replace it on the spot.
Buy from Amazon wise, any issue down the road you have to ship the RAM back which
may take few months before it come back.

Actually for processor, I think it may be worthwhile checking on Amazon as well. Intel and AMD processors generally comes with international warranty and so it doesn't matter where you get it from. Intel in particular because their process to RMA should be consistent, i.e. raise a ticket with them, do some troubleshooting, if it doesn't solve the problem, they will dispatch courier to pick it up from you for replacement/ repair. I've been buying CPUs from Amazon because they can be a lot cheaper than buying locally. Even after taking into consideration the bundle discount. I got my current i7 10700K at around 340 SGD in the recent Prime Sale, and you can still get a 10700F around 350 bucks.

Also, I won't recommend getting the Seasonic Focus series. May be do check online before buying. Depending on the GPU you have in mind, I've seen some feedbacks where it will struggle with higher end Ampere GPUs. Not too sure about AMD RDNA2 though.

10700F no longer selling at S$350, it has went back to S$400 plus. i guess it's still better to get the combo from sim lim as of now since the price of cpu are back to their highest in amazon. if he want a 11700, still better to get it at sim lim.
