You might want to consider a SSD, less than $100 for 240GB.

There is no way 2GB is going to be adequate for Photoshop. An extra 8GB of DDR3 is about $40. Suggest you buy a single stick of 8GB so that you can add another one if necessary.

Your specs suggests your com is at least 5 years old. If old enough might even be using DDR2. But ram type or not, no point keeping the 2GB stick; computer upgrades need to be exponential not linear.

Depends on your budget. I suggest you indicate a number otherwise it will be difficult for forumers to give you any advice. Other people are better at recommending specific parts so I will defer to them.

You probably should consider increasing your RAM already, 4GB is the bare minimum in today's standards, 8GB is pretty much mainstream.

i3-6100 + MSI H110M Pro-VHL @287
1x8GB Kingston DDR4-2133 @52
Zotac 240GB SSD @99
FSP Hexa Plus 450W @58
Total 496
Advantage is it will be easier (and probably cheaper) to perform future upgrades since DDR4 is mainstream now

If you die die want to use the 2GB stick
i3-4160 + AsRock H81M-HDS @235
1x8GB Kingston DDR3-1600 @48
Zotac 240GB SSD @99
FSP Hexa Plus 450W @58
Total 440

You will also need a GPU. The recommended specs for Photoshop is 2GB or more of VRAM.

HI!

The current rig that i'm building, i'll not be spending so much time on it so i'm thinking of just building the cheap one as i'll be just use it at home(night time) and on weekends.

And Leaving it on for SMS Marketing 15 hours a day. (THINK PSU need to be good)

My Current unit recently it's PSU(because of switch on for long) and MOBO just broke down...
So since i won't spend much time on it..
Was just thinking of upgrading cheaply....

Like buy:
1) ASUS H81M-A + G3250 - Tradepac @ $159
2) FSP Hexa Plus 450W -550w @ 58
3) 1x8GB Kingston DDR3-1600 @48

Any thoughts about it ?

Will an AMD rig be much more value for money ?

You won't save much with an AMD rig and Intel (Sandy Bridge and above) are simply better value.

You can consider this H61 MB at $45 from Convergent. It is old stock but good value for money.

For the CPU, you can check out the forums for a used CPU. Intel CPUs can last quite long and Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge CPUs are quite cheap. You should be able to get an i5 for less than $100. (seller should be able to provide you with the Intel stock HSF for free or at most $10.) Do note you will need thermal paste for the HSF (ask CPU seller if he has any extra - you just need a bit).

PSU you should buy new.

I got the specs from Adobe but since you have actual experience, I'll take your word for it. :)

Current CPU Is: Intel Pentium E5500 Dual Core @ 2.8ghz
If i buy H61 MB at $45 from convergent.
can this CPU fits? Or Pointless?

The E5500 is socket 775 which is two generations earlier than Sandy Bridge. Obsolete, though you can build a 775 system dirt-cheap.
