So you recommend this:
1) i5-2400 with ASUS H81M-A ?
2) FSP Hexa Plus 450W -550w @ 58
3) 1x8GB Kingston DDR3-1600 @48

Correct?

No. The i5-2400 with the H61 board (socket 1155) from Convergent.

H81 is Haswell (socket 1150).

No no i5-2400 is electrically incompatible with this motherboard since they are of different chipset (even though physically it might fit)

The rest is fine though

you can take up the second hand offers if you want, they do provide better value

This looks good but OP will have to bid against the other interested parties.

I'm a total noob in this!
Why is it a good deal?

In anycase, if i don't know how to install it, i also need to bring to the SLS shop and buy the PSU and CPU Cooler Fan to get them to install it ?

Do they charge for that ?

OK. I was still thinking along the lines of a discrete GPU.

Don't need actually, cause Intel integrated graphics now can handle dual monitors, provided got sufficient output ports

Since TS not gaming no need for GPU, just adds unnecessary power consumption :s13:

well I think the one you show is fine

1) ASUS H81M-A + G3250 - Tradepac @ $159
2) FSP Hexa Plus 450W -550w @ 58
3) 1x8GB Kingston DDR3-1600 @48

should be just fine I guess, to be frank you don't really need that much power for simple editing also, since pretty much is just resize and stuff

SSD is a good idea though IMO

Anw, i can upgrade it?
Used since feb 2014...

It's still working fine. Just that sometimes it will auto restart, don't know why. like it just cut off by itself and restart.

Think you should really swap this AMD rig as spare and use the 2nd hand Intel setup as main PC since Intel spare PC is going to end up outperforming your AMD main PC. :s13:

And that CM Extreme PSU should go if you can... :o

okay!
Let's be objective here....

i'm thinking which one should be my main computer:
1) ASUS B85-MG + G3250 - Tradepac @ $159
2) FSP Hexa Plus 450W -550w @ 58
3) 1x8GB Kingston DDR3-1600 @48

or
My current AMD Rig...
- I'm fine no graphics, as it currently supports my needs with adobe photoshop just nice now.

After which, i think i'll add in SSD or top up ram of main computer to 16gb(Not sure necessary)

Any others that i need to do to "upgrade" it....
