for me anything that is not smart nowadays is bad quality
then there are some who define good quality as having safety mark

May I suggest MK for the 'click' feel and Legrand for a softer feel.
Neither will last forever, but they are quite cheap and easy to replace.

For me, I value the practicality and functionality of the light switches. Best to be long lasting, safe to use and show reliable performance.

Noticed many people mention Schneider Electric switches here. They have many ranges and price varies too.You may want to visit lighting shops to view the range of switches available after the re-opening post circuit breaker. I believe all the well known designer brands are of acceptable quality which can last you for years. Visit the stores to physically see and feel them for yourself.

since there are so many people mentioning Schneider Electric's switches, does anyone by any chance know where can I see it online? i don't think it is very viable to be visiting their stores physically at this phase no? Someone also mentioned MK and Legrand so where can I find more information about it? i just want to weigh my choices before making a decision

There are many hardware stores in the Jalan besar/ Kelatan lane area
Just google for it

i think one key thing about Schneider Electric switches is that they feel quite plastic? but at the same time, MK cost more especially I heard that it is made in Singapore as compared to being made in China. as for durability, i am not too sure about both brands. i guess you can go down to check if stores are open. Stay safe.

Think Shopee has. But I find the plastic materials they used quite soft. The one I used for my Kitchen only last 5 years plus. The old MK one last me 20+ years.

Not sure about which series he used. Mine is the one face plate slot in from top type. ie you cannot see the 2 mounting screw after face plate is installed.

I would take MK over Schneider if price is around the same.

Most reviews on both MK and Schneider Electric in Shopee are mostly good reviews that said "arrived in good condition! authentic" and nothing much to take note of though. does this means both are of the same quality and doesn't matter which one i choose

You might want to go to Choo Chiang to have a look. They have many branches around Singapore. I find that they are one of the cheapest for switches

Use that before. Good for lazy people, cons is the switch is running on power all the time. Also I find is not as reliable as those simple mechanical switch.
