Recommendations for a Custom / Prebuild Site

Just asking for any recommendations. When i searched, it keep giving me like very old posts that may affect the cost and reputation of the suggested sites and SLS shops.

I narrowed down my search for Pre-Built / Custom Ones
1. Mansa
2. Define.pc
3. Invader PC


Yes I know SLS as well. But I not very good at the research part & knowledge of SLS so I would prefer it to be like my last choice. And I got no idea how to build a pc. I also want the warranty and aftersale support as I don't know how to diagnose which part is causing the issue for a custom pc.

For SLS: I was recommended Dynacore, Viipc, PCKaki & PCtheme

Are these sites reputable and worth the price? Or just shall I just go with Sim Lim and try my best to rate the parts despite having no knowledge.

Mainly to play those AAA games. But also stream & decent amount of video editing. Not heavy just a moderate amount of video editing.
Heard a lot of recommendation for Ryzen instead of Intel so going with that.
Forgot about Budget: 3K ish. I would even go for 4K but it has to be reasonable to requiring that much

out of the 3, invaderpc offers the best performance per dollar: for a ~1.5k budget, mansa offers a 5600 + 4060ti (from the matx base) and define offers a worse 14400 + 4060, both of which u are better off diy-ing for less money. meanwhile invader offers a 7500f + 7800xt, which is a good 40-80% faster than either of those setups.

Mainly to play those AAA games. But also stream & decent amount of video editing. Not heavy just a moderate amount of video editing.
Heard a lot of recommendation for Ryzen instead of Intel so going with that.

if ur doing video editing, best to go intel, and make sure to get a non f one with integrated graphics, minimum u would want is a 13600k imo, depending on budget. speaking of which, how much is ur budget?

oh nice, so Invader will be the best choice. Although i don't mind other suggestions XD. I was after all considering Aftershock but due to the sheer number of complaints

not really, just that intel generally offers better multicore performance (useful for davinci resolve) for a similar price and enjoys a performance advantage in adobe apps like premiere pro and after effects. quicksync on intel igpu is also better supported. but thats not to say ryzen is unusable, i occassionally do video compilations on my quad core ryzen and its perfectly fine, and my gpu is doing most of the heavy lifting anyway.

I actually have no monitor yet XD I am literally starting with nothing. I was planning to look at what pc setup I roughly want, buy then look at what monitor I want to get. Probably either getting them from SLS or just go Courts.

I was originally a gaming laptop user but it broke down. (PS I did not went with a laptop cos I want to, it's cos I needed it for other things as well but not that I am free of that, time to go for PC)

well, having a monitor in mind does help optimise ur spend on the pc; would be very overkill to recommend a 4090 pc to someone gaming on a 1080p monitor for example.

If budget 3k i think not that high specs , at most 7700 + 4070super and a 1440p monitor ( high fps screen probably) . 4k gaming no need think , the reason i didnt recommand 4060ti is because AAA game might be too stress

Been looking around at 4070 to 4080 actually on Invader and Mansa. Not so sure about the Processor thought but the pc i looking at Invader is like 7800 3XD?

Also not sure if I should try to get like a i9 or a ryzen equivalent, since I planned to do streaming and some very basic video editing

intel Z790 End of Life. The highest cpu u can upgrade to will be 14900KS.

AMD B650E gives you better futureproofing since with a bios update, they will support up-coming AMD 9000 series CPU.

not really, only $100 less than the 14900kf + 4080s build while being quite a bit slower. u get faster ram sure but the performance difference is quite marginal, and in return u get half the storage and a lower wattage psu, not worth that $100 saving.

if mostly gaming, the 7800x3d + 4080s is a no brainer, since it is the fastest and cheapest. though if u diy, probably can cut abit of cost too

Well I would still look through Sim Lim probably. But I like the easier warranty since DIY means I have to find which part problem then find the part warranty directly.

total ~3.1k, the 120mm fans not specified but if u go with 8x cooler master cf120 argb @ $12 each, thats another $100, so total 3.2. not a whole lot cheaper but still cheaper nonetheless.
personally, id opt for these:

r7 7800x3d + asus tuf b650m-e gaming	764 ($37 saving)	dynacore	if u dont need any more expansion after nvme and gpu, no point paying more for full atx
thermalright phantom spirit 120 se	52 ($44 saving)	pc themes	7800x3d is very power efficient, no need for 360mm aio, good air cooler enough
adata xpg core reactor 750w (if still in stock)	125 ($4 saving)	performance pc	double the warranty length (10y) vs da850 (5y)

id also consider going for the crucial p5 plus for a $30 saving (slightly slower but u probably wont notice) alongside a cheaper case; the lianli lancool 216 is an excellent case for $70 less and comes with fans for example. with all these changes, u can build a functionally identical pc for under 3k.

Looking at a ASUS VA27EHF 100HZ 1080P IPS LED Monitor for $158, Acer CB241Y 75HZ 1080P Type-C IPS LED Monitor for $195 & Samsung LS24R350FZEXXS Full HD IPS Bezel-Less LED Monitor for $130. Cos it comes in a bundle.
Not sure how to look at the specs really
Dont know much about Monitor DX

with that kind of specs u wanna go minimum 1440p monitors or 4k. I recommend watching monitors unboxed on youtube for information regarding the best value monitors.

Yeah , get a 1440p 180hz ips screen or 4k . No point buy a rtx 4080 but play at a 1080p screen , is like throwing a 3k down the drain
