Hey guys! Can I get your recommendations on Hitachi RVG 560 or Mitsubishi MR-F55 2 door top freezer fridge (450L) please?

Anyone using it got any experiences to share? We like the hitachi for the glass and cheaper price point ($200 diff).. But sales person (Mega Discount) told us this model got problems.. Looks good only. If I am not wrong it's not made in Japan too, but I not sure if the Mitsu also not MIJ. He said Mitsubishi is best in brand for fridge though.

Biggest mistake is to take the word seriously from the salesman (mostly are promoter of certain brand). Feedback to shop manager why are they carry a model that has known problem! Shouldn't the shop be responsible for it?

Anyway, I do agreed Mitsu is a good brand for fridges.

Any downsides to this? I see that there are no special functions in managing the freshness of fruits and vegs. Is that an area to watch for?

moving house, I have to get a new one anyway because the current one will be given to someone else

Usually if you stick to korea or japan brands unlikely to go wrong rest is just budget , preference .

Avoid brands like europace ,etc .

The cheaper model always got problem .

They earn more commission if you buy the more expensive model

Got this fridge a while back. My first MIJ fridge. Good in preserving food. Vegetables, fruits still fresh after 2 to 3 weeks. But the model has been discontinued. Similar model is R-KWC570KS.
