Recommendations for fridges

Please avoid any panasonic fridge. Bought and 4 mths later keep rattling for no reason..and then not cold. Regret.

you bought a specific model then you label any / all panasonic fridges are cui.

hey am gettting a used fridge. noticed many Japanese brands dont have 4 ticks. mostly 2 to 3 ticks only. But LG and Samsung alot 4 ticks. Why ah?

Would you buy fridge from shopee ? actual sellers would be Audio House, Mega discount store etc.
if for those major shops like Best/ Harvey etc will you buy the extended warranty which is not cheap.

These products are not easy to fake.

Just compare the price.

So far I used a few brands. I quite like LG for the innovation and Hitachi for the build. Samsung and Panasonic are ok but not spectacular. The amdk brands I didn’t use before.

is the vaccum compartment on Hitachi really special ? Is it other brands also similar technology but call it defrent names only ? will the vaccum compartment be easy spoil ?

my parents bought the 1st gen one years back, still going strong... back then was super expensive.

i just bought the latest gen one for my new house but smaller size... i think the vacuum compartment is more like a good to have. but since i have been quite used to it, so i just buy also

wife has preference of lower freezer, say we use less no need bend down so much.

my panasonic fridge bought in 2012 has been using till now and still ongoing. In fact on the contary, my next fridge will still be panasonic.

Been using Panasonic fridges 20+ years ago. Current one 10 years already and still fine.

Considering Panasonic fridge, but Samsung’s 2025 model seems attractive for slightly less cost and better efficiency.
