Xbox One controller with Bluetooth.

Native support for Windows and works wirelessly with Bluetooth.

I won't bother with PS4 controller for PC, not worth the effort to be honest.

PS4 joypad for me. Support in windows and Steam is very good now so for those that don't have an XBOX use their PS4 joypad.

Older games yes not great with a PS4 joypad but if your willing to run an application to map buttons (a lot easier than it sounds) then your golden!

Xbox One controller is the best when it comes to compatibility. But depending on the game that one is playing, I feel PS4 controller is still superior. Just that it doesn't work in some cases even when connected directly via USB.

Personally I use 3m Braided microUSB Cable.
Wireless still sucks for me.

Wireless is always inferior to wired. Its good only for the convenience and tidiness.

That's why I got a Braided Cable.
Very Neat won't Entangle.
