I intent to go during the Jan 07 and SA tours quoted me $1538 (with ski equipment) and $1338 (without the ski equipment) for the package and about $270 airport tax.

Quite a steep once and still considering.

$200 just for the ski equipment is too expensive. I understand the ski equipment is about $75 per suit, so i strongly suggest you take the package without the ski equipment.

Your package does it include Jeju island? 8 days too?

u can check if they go lotte world, do they include Big5 or juz the entrance fees... usually the bigger companies like SA and etc, include everything tat make it look expensive...

mine doesn't include jeju... if u include jeju, it will be quite pack and rush... dunno if it is still the same... the domestic airport and international airport is abt 2hr away... the 1st day, u will waste it on travelling...

As for theme park, I heard Lotte world is not so good... Everland is better... usually the theme park, u cannot finished one... i bought big 5 ticket and end up didn't finish all the 5 ride... can only complete 4 ride... can't remember how much is big5 ticket but it is quite expensive...

genting holiday is cheaper becaz they usually book last min hotels for better rates... does not include some attraction, ski equipment and Big5 ticket... food wise is so so but i'm quite alright with the quality... some places of interest do not need entrance ticket... so look like itinerity is pack and full but free stuff...

anyway for a start, it is quite a value for money tour... next time, i will go myself...

can't really remember the cost of the suit... but not really tat expensive... u can call up genting to ask... remember in the 1st day, they will passby a small shopping area... remember to buy seaweed and local makan there... after tat, almost no chance/dunno where to buy these foods untill the last day before reaching the airport, they will bring u to a speciality shop where they chop u like pork chop like tat and u got no choice but to buy from them... look out for small pkt one becaz the big one almost cannot finish at 1 go...

you mean you went to genting holidays located at bukit timah plaza?
if i am not wrong, Jan is the coldest month, so i think should snow.
If they include ski equipment, it is very good. but why do we need the suit if we are already wearing winter clothing which can keep us warm?
