Up for RW!

Looking at RW for quite sometimes already and i admire how RW has a 'life' of its own and we got to take care of it and see the leather evolve over time.

Hi guys, just got my first pair of redwings... i took the size calculator from the store, and the person gave me 10-D (model is 875)

It feels good and all.. and i normally wear size 10 on shoes anyway. But for the width, i can feel the arch at the size. Its not really paining or anything, but i can fell it there. Is this part and parcel of breaking in the boots? Will it flatten out? Or did i just get the wrong width? Thanks.

Anyone could advise on the price of Red Wing Shoes Men's Beckman Chukka Boot if I were to buy locally @ suntec please?

Lazy to ship from Amazon and if the price is right, I'll just bite the bullet :D

Which store in Suntec btw? In which wing? :s34:

Edit: Just found out it's $518 @ Suntec. Now the question, should I get the moc toe or the round toe? Planning to wear with demin/chinos and even when I dress down for work (dress shirt + khakis + boots) :o

I would get round toe if I were you.

I got the round toe because I thought the moc was too casual.

Bros, if there are 50% off all red wings shoe, which one will you guys get immediately? :s13:

Without second thoughts, a gentleman traveller. All their colours available looks awesome. With that said, rw control their pricing so u won't be able to see 50% off.
