lol color still darker. Remember reading somewhere that I have to wear it for some time for the color to lighten further

From Nick's boot website:
If darkening is a concern, test an inconspicuous area, and allow six days for migration and true color to show.

use plastic glove, same effectiveness, but your hands won't smell like obenauf for the rest of the day.

look at the type of leather used. the laces used. and the sole "genuine leather" logo is different from authentic red wing


oh, and the soles. it just shows how plastic they are. genuine RW beckman ( i suppose this is the model they trying to replicate) uses ply of leather for the soles before the rubber sole
