Anyway, I just got a reply from Red Wings US. I emailed them last Friday asking if Amazon is their authorized retailer.

You have to click on 'Other Sellers on Amazon' at the right side of your screen directly below the 'Add to Cart' box. Once there, if Amazon has it in stock, you'll be able to select to buy from them directly. If they do not have it in stock, you won't see them on the list. The link below has been sorted to 'Sold by Amazon' and 'AmazonGlobal Eligible'.

I knew about the promo, but chose Amazon anyway to save an extra $30, which paid for half of an Asics running shoe I bought (also on Amazon). Remember to bring a friend along as you'll need his/her IC to get the other $40 discount.

Always know your sizes before you buy stuff online. Feet, shoulder, neck, chest, hip, waist, inseam etc, then you'll be able to buy with confidence.

haha thanks for the info, i actually alr figure out how to get your 1907 for the same price. i already got a pair of red wing and know my size, why pay more when i can get it cheaper?

Just to highlight again, for those concerned of buying online, you should get from Orchard Gateway now which is having 20% off by buying the Orchard Gateway vouchers. Only limitation is that it is capped at $200 per person. So eg. for a $450 shoe you need 3 different people, and your price will be $360. When I bought they had $50 vouchers. You can measure your feet, get advice from the salesperson, try sizes up/down and ensure you get the right fit, all in their nice and cosy retro-style shop.

would like to check if any1 used the obenauf leather cleaner on their rw boots before.

I got some black dirty marks on my boots after about 3mths of wear. planning to get the cleaner as well as LP to condition them

it's alright just use a cloth and use a bit at a time, don't smear all the leather cleaner on to your redwing u might run the risk of removing the dye in the leather. I use obenauf heavy duty LP on leather boots that i know i am going to trash. Usually for boots in sg weather use a light conditioner will be fine already.

My 875s and 8138s from Amazon were less than 300 each. That is from using Borderlinx as a middleman.

think i better use the LP. due to working conditions visit those ship yards, come into contact with a lot of dust and stuffs.

yea, i use red wing leather cleaner tho, i remove about 60% of the indigo stains, i can remove most of it but just too lazy to rub hard.

IMHO the indigo stain from raw dry denim gives your red wing unique appearance, maybe if someone stole your wings u could identify it back haha. I only occasionally try to scrub off the indigo stain when it start to become really dark.

The heavy duty LP seems to suit your working condition but it darken your wings a lot. For those who just use for casual wear, using Venetian shoe cream or saphir Renovateur should be pretty good.

Will do, but he mention he can get red wing shoes for 300, idk if it's in USD OR SGD. If it's in SGD means that is pretty damn cheap Might get my next pair of red wing from amazon or get a factory second from STP since getting from STP is so cheap
