No. Red Wings run 1/2 - 1 size large. If you normally wear a US 6 you need a US 5.5/5

Hi, I bought at Peninsula Feder sports. The uncle kept telling me to take 1 size bigger. I've tried a US7 then he told me to get US8. Of course that point of time i did not know that i need to downsize one size down. And i cannot exchange them since i have worn them once.

It depends how he had explained to you. For me I like a good snug fit without much room. Those guys whom have done their ns before will know why the importance of a good fit.
BUT there is another school of theory for a bigger size. I was at orchard gateway RW store and Han had explained to me how a correct fit should be, and apparently its like 1 to 1.5 size larger than what I am wearing now.

Last and most important, u wear the shoe and not the shoe wears u. U must feel right.
