According to the SA, if it's new, do not put any insole pad first and let the boot season first so that it will tailored to your feet.

Once it's had season, then decide after that.

Actually what is the reason you need an insole leh??? If its because size doesn't fit, then I will strongly say nono. If its about comfort, well this is the fun thing about wearing a pair of good boots. You have to wear it to make it mould to your feet. Just like the denim as the 2nd skin, the boots will become your 2nd pair of feet. :D

Lol for flatfeet lorr. The podiatrist did a custom insole for me leh, its to support the arch so that it'll be more comfortable when i walk. Dk if you've heard of it before HAHA :D

Anw do u guys think that red wing will look good w skinny jeans? Heard of people complaining that the boot looks fat and bulbous in contrast. Is that true for the full range of RW boots? Or is there any model of boot that's more suitable to be worn w skinnies?

They only do recrafting of their own line of shoes.

hmm... I am not sure about now now though. I believe they have started to resole for other brands too, because I have seen them posting the results on their facebook. But I have not seen Red Wing so far though...

They had already moved to Orchard Gateway Level 4.

Maybe you can just walked in and asked the SA there. They do sell some original insole and can gave better advise.

I also wanted to get an insole for more comfort on the heel but the SA told me to let it season before doing so.

I am wearing with my 501 and I think it's quite ok...................:)
