Its not a fair apple to apple comparison leh, just like asking if iOS or android mobile phones better...
Red Wing started as boots / shoes makers for workers who need footwear for toughness. Timberland is doing outdoors wear, which eventually spread out to clothing, accessories.

If you want a pair of fancy boots to tug into skinny jeans like the kpop artistes, I will strongly discourage you from getting Red Wing then. IMHO Red Wing are too chunky to give you the korean look, which make you look like Ronald McD... But then again of course, one man's meat is another man's poison...

I can't wear skinny anyway... Straight with slightly tapered legs or slim is good enough...

Personally I like red wing for their durability and classic style... The more worn out the better it looks...

My heels break in liao.... Haha... 1907 yes, 8111 breaking in... Btw lexol cleaner does wonders for denim stains....!

Hi guys , some question any idea how to prevent Red Wing 1907 from getting heel blister and is quite a big patch. I keep having that and is painful to wear, and was it normal for the toe box to have crease on it after wearing? I've apply LP on it before wearing.

And my red wing tab is under the tongue instead at the side.

Every person's feet is different. Best if you go and try it at the shops. Do they have 8.5E locally?

For maintaining anyone try use before bickmore leather conditioner or columbus mink oil??

Wear thick socks and tie your shoe lace tightly...

The redwing sizing tab should be at the sides... Yours from which batch as in manufactured when? It should be stated the month and year on tab...

Hi bro thank for the tip shoe lace tightly will reduce heel slippage right. Perhaps the sock I'm wearing isnt thick enough is more for dress shoe kind.

The batch somehow it say 12/14 so i assume is dec 2014? the tab is under the tongue like the image i took not sure if suppose to be like that, my previous exchange 1907 was at the side thou.
