Hi guys , some question any idea how to prevent Red Wing 1907 from getting heel blister and is quite a big patch. I keep having that and is painful to wear, and was it normal for the toe box to have crease on it after wearing? I've apply LP on it before wearing.

And my red wing tab is under the tongue instead at the side.

I can't recall if I had blisters during my virgin wears le, but I believe wearing thick socks and tying the laces tight will help. Tight shoe laces because it will minimise the boots from moving which will rub against your feet. Where as socks, I am cheapo de, saf socks work best for me. :p

As for creases, I advise you not to worry at all unless you wish your boots to stay mint fresh. If you go to the RW store at OGW and see the treasure pair they display, it looks damn worn out, but that is the gold IMO

WHY YOU CLEAN DENIM STAINS

Man, I love denim stains

My denim stains majiam tatoo on my 1907 lor... but anyway it's not totally removed lar, just lighten the the stain to a shade which i can accept. got time send u pic on carousell... btw i was the one who send u the pic of my 1907 the other time...

Hi bro thank for the tip :D shoe lace tightly will reduce heel slippage right. Perhaps the sock I'm wearing isnt thick enough is more for dress shoe kind.

The batch somehow it say 12/14 so i assume is dec 2014? the tab is under the tongue like the image i took not sure if suppose to be like that, my previous exchange 1907 was at the side thou.

Hi bros, thank for the feedback gonna wear some wool sock but hope it doesn't make my feet sweat like mad and stink :s22:. Look thru the net saw some 1907 very worn in with lots of crease it looks vintage! Yea it look like the manufacturing date seem to be fresh but the tag location seem alittle different this time

If you size your boots nicely the creases should be exactly after the vamp area. For me, my 8115 creases exactly at the cap toe line. Just nice. No other creases anywhere

My 8111 creases slightly before the cap toe... So I think it also subject to the length of your toes too...

After cleaning, oiling, polishing my boots, the leather is slightly darken. Is this normal?

oiling will sure darken you boots by a few shades, rule of thumb is not to apply too much oil and wipe off the excess....

for 1907 i do not apply any oil, only leather protector spray for water proofing...

So no chance to save my boots? As time past, will my boots back it to original state?
