875 should be able to sell quite easily but the size is pretty large. good luck! :)

Hi...

I am letting go a pair of brand new 9075 black. Size US 8.

Bought the wrong size. Didnt know the cutting was so big.

Shoes is bought from US Revolve clothing website. No longer have box because is removed for shipping purpose. I can provide receipt from Revolve Clothing to prove the authenticity.

Letting go at $300.

Hi, I'm currently thinking of purchasing a 3rd pair of RW. Anyone knows how much is the 8130 and 8114 are selling for at CGW right now. Looking to spice up the colorways. Currently own the 1907 and 8109.

Why not try a different brand? I only own one pair of red wings but I'm thinking of exploring other brands :)

I bought a Workx shoe from Leeden. It cost 149.80SGD. Its a very good shoe but extremely heavy.

I think Workx is a subsidiary of Red Wing.

Yup, you are right. Worx is a subsidiary of Red Wing that specializes more in safety boots and such, with a lower price tag due it it not being made in USA.

Replacement of a rubber outsole (like a topy) most sg cobblers can do. But if you're lf full goodyear resole there is only Ed et al.

Safer to send back to USA imo if they're a treasured pair.

I had my Redwings Beckman for about 2.5 years liao. Today just realised the rubber soles on both shoe cracked. I called Redwing shoe store but they will charge 230-300 to ship and let US Redwing to resole. They also recommend Shukey of far east(?). Shukey only in lucky plaza according to their site.

Bro butter is Ed Et Al good and how much will it cost to resole? Cost of sending to US for repair is half the price of the shoe:eek:

I thought of continue wearing the shoe but the rubber was cracked through.. I think only problem is wearing it in wet weather I guess.:s13:

dont think u want to try ed et al. they might be a bit cheaper than sending back to redwing US but still considered ex.

yes the shukey in far east is the one who can resole for redwings. its there, just got to look for it. or u can try sole-mann in raffles place. i reckon they would be much cheaper than ed et al but not sure if they do redwings.

Hey that dmg looks like just the outer rubber sole layer crack. The cobbler will prolly just peel off that affected layer, glue and stitch the new one. So Shukey and Solemann as mentioned by Shalomp should be able to handle.

Ed does full goodyear recrafting, its a different service. Basically the entire leather sole and cork infill is replaced and then restitched. Sometimes for more serious case may even require the original last to do.

Just wondering why the sole is black and not the usual white redwing sole.

Emailed to Ed Et Al to check on their price.

There's mixed reviews for shukey so I am in a dilemma as to whether to choose shukey for its price or other costlier shoe repairs for its quality. I don't want them to ruin my shoes :s13: but I guess I could go for balance.

U mean going down to Europe and buy or buying online from an European seller? Eur has been weakening so I reckon it might be cheaper than purchasing in spore. :)

physically in europe. was wondering cos certain fashion brands are definitely cheaper in europe as compared to sg (even before euro weaken)

Can get back tax claim too.

Well I'm sure it will be cheaper but by how much? According to one guy trying to sell his 875 from hk, it is around sgd100 cheaper than spore. How much u reckon a pair will cost on average in Europe??? Some models like the kangatan can only be found on the red wing Amsterdam website.

Maybe when u are there, u can snap some photos and put it in this thread so everyone can be educated! :)
