yup, that's a billingham bag , small size( for my DSLR), it's tru the pro is discontinued as I tried searching for it but couldnt find it so I ended up getting the small.

as for the shorts, I have always liked slightly looser berms as I feel that they're more comfortable, anyway I'm already an uncle so I dont think I can pull of the slimmer ones. I also saw in some of the japanese mags like lightning and 2nd that quite a few japanese guys are wearing the RW boots with berms and they look good. Most of them are wearing looser ones as well.

My next purchase to match the bots will probably be a good pair of jeans. I also dont think I can pull off the skinny or slim fit so I will be opting for straight cut.I am also intending to try raw jeans as I have never tried wearing one but I find the idea intrigiung.( wear your jeans so that it ages with you) I am currently eyeing the Flat Head 3005 or LVC 55 501. I will either be getting a friend to pick it up from overseas or getting it myself when I travel to HK or Japan.

I have been to APC, The denim store, Queens couture,Actually, Wooderland, Surrender and all the raw jeans seems to come only in skinny or slim fit. I actually ask them why are they not bringing in the staright fits, most of them answered that there is no demand and the skinny and slim fit are the ones people in singapore are looking for. The funny thing is most of the japanese guys tend to favor the straight fit( saw in Ligtning and some fo the other jap blogs ad mags).

Oh well. I guess to each his own. On another matter, the 875 took me roughly about 4-5 wears to break in, they're extremely comfortable now. The only feedback is that the white sole will discolor if a certain part comes in contact with black surfaces. ( in my case, the heel edge have discolored as when I drive, that part actually contact my black floor mat of my car. Other than that, I think it's one of the most beautiful and confortabel boots I have worn. ( I also own a timberland yellow boots and pair of old cowboy boots whcih I have retired since buying the 875).

Hope this short writeup can help people who are considering this model.

^ haha i totally agree on the sole heel part turning black. Especially on the right foot. Cos thats where ur leg switches between the brake and accelerator the most and makes it blacker than the left. This is what happened to my DB. but im not bothered by it at all. Let it be..

Maybe i will try my DB with berms on weekends. If i wear berms with the Beckman?? Hmm. Sounds exciting.. Haha

You didnt downsize? Seems like quite a roomy fit. But naise look on you. I wanna wear my lumberjacks RW with berms too, but decided against it. Look too 'cute' with the checkered patterns and berms. Nice with jeans thou.

Hehe... Actually I upsize 1 sz instead of downsize. Bo bian, last pair and at $238 you just have to whack. No issue as after putting in an insole it feels just nice. In fact even without the additional insole, I feel fine walking about. I tried on a pair of 875 downsize 1. It bordersa lil bit on being too tight but I guess that's what most ppl goes for, the 'wrap around your feet' feel.

FINALLY a gd sun on my non working day, I quickly took my ladies out for a sun tan

DB is brand new, but i tot it will be gd to have a coat of mink oil and some vitamin D.
875 is considerably new bah, only 3-4 wears nia...

8165 is the tough lady which i have managed to conquered and loving it liaoz. Imagine i was in hk for 7days earlier this mth, minimum 8hrs walking daily in her, and she only made my walking easier

Some photos to share, after 1st wear. Surprisingly I didn't experience any pain, only very slight uncomfort on the top part. I guess wearing thick socks really helps.

I usually wear UK size 8, but for RW I need to down 1 size. Still feel quite roomy even thou down 1 size.

Got it at $410 after 10% discount, with free key chain.

i have seen before something similar in magazines too, but i just cant find the right pair of berms for myself...

I am considered short for guy. I am looking for a pair of similar khaki berms but length not below the knees. Abit hard coz my height will be become a prob...

the berms i owned so far are those slim above knees bought from retrosport. But i guess they will look strange in a pair of boots.
Tried my 8165 with black slim berms above knee length, really abit strange combi

thats why not easy to find the best pair fitting all sizes.

I am looking for a pair of berms in that color, but without pockets at the knee areas, those like ns no4 pants :S
then at least if too long i can still have room to shorten it.

any suggestions to get it? Seen something at uniqlo, but it has the pockets which i dun want...

i was thinking abt this too, after recently there are more pics posted here.

i am suspect its the origin of the boots?

my 8165 bought in federsports have the brown one, 875 bought in hk has brown with the big RW logo.
then there is the white one some has too.

actually same like the insole. Some have words and logo printed there, some dun. Both my pair dun have them also...

thanks for the concern.

thats why i placed the two pairs of RW by the side, coz they are much heavier. I am hoping they will hold the weight
but then its ok coz i will be home. If they are every to topple, i am sure it will create a loud sound. But just hope it doesnt crush on someone's head, then i sure die liaoz...
