Actually it wasnt as bad as I thought.

Wore my beckman chestnut to a trip to Malacca within the first week of wearing and my feet survived it.

Ytd i wore it aft getting it from the shop, so i was wearing ankle socks. Jialat man!

Should i mink oil them? But im afraid it would darken the color to what i dont want it to be.

Lol. You should do fine with normal socks.

Dunno about mink oil but using obenauf LP will not darken it. Been using the LP on my chestnut for about amyear, no significant darkening. Furthermore even if theres any darkening, it wont be obvious on the blackcherry.

Is the sole slippery on wet floors?

Gotten the 875 but havent got a chance to wear them yet.

Hmmm i dont wear them when it's raining so i cant tell you. But when the floor is wet, like maybe aft the rain kind, it isn't slippery.
