Redmi 7

I added a just a little bit more to that price and got the Redmi 7A with 3GB RAM. That one I bought from Qoo10, its a China model, but I am ok with it.

I feel this is the last cheap phone with a handy size of 5.5 inch 720p efficient screen, 4000maH battery, and Snapdragon 439 octa core processor. The succeeding model 8A/9A all were bigger and 8A even have less RAM.

I don't think there's any more of this around S$130 with those specs.

but once redmi 10a is out they will probably be cheaper. but there are times where xiaomi shopee selling 8A at a cheaper price. (but rams is 2gb iirc)

true. but i did say smaller screen like 5.5 inch, 3GB RAM, and around S$130...
no more cheap android is like that now. maybe when S10e goes down that price perhaps but can only be obtained in that price in a badly beaten condition.

anyone successfully try using tracetogether apps to scan the QR code on Redmi 7a?

It keeps prompt me to update google play service

my redmi 7 is having some weird issue. notice that sometime after i depress the power btn to screenlock the screen would suddenly flick & hang up .

Had to find way to reboot the phone....

Had already update to the latest software but issue still persist.

Self answer. Use Notes to enter prefix, copy and paste to blocklist. Worked as expected, spam call will be rejected and logged as entries in "Blocked calls logs".
