Redmi 7

I have an odd problem with my redmi 7. After charging to 100% and unplugging,it remains at 100%. Only after I reboot do I get the correct battery level shown.anyone encountered this? Using global 10.3.1.0

Are you using the included Redmi 7 charger or an incompatible charger from another maker?

Anyone on 10.3.1 global cannot access 5g wifi networks? If the network is 5g only (not dual with 2.4g) it does not show up in my redmi 7 list of wifi networks so I cannot connect. But I have a mi max 1 that can see and connect with no problem. I suspect it is the firmware version.

May be the SSID is not broadcast ? I don't have RM7 but I have 5G wifi which is not broadcast and I need to add manually.

For you Mi Max, you might have added manually ?

I have never added manually before
And this is for all 5g networks, I've just compared the networks my different phones can detect

Redmi 7 does not support dual-band Wi-Fi. WiFi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz only.

China set is designed for Tiong frequency bands. Maybe cannot use for TPG network yo. Buy the local set with local warranty support suah lah.

Can lah. Global means anywhere across the globe.

how to make redmi note 7 pro charging only when it switch off.i cant find ways to let it charge while the phone is off.
it will automatically boot up and charge once i press the power button only for merely 1 second.
i am trying to find out whether my battery got issue coz when i plug my powerbank the power never goes up

I added a just a little bit more to that price and got the Redmi 7A with 3GB RAM. That one I bought from Qoo10, its a China model, but I am ok with it.

I feel this is the last cheap phone with a handy size of 5.5 inch 720p efficient screen, 4000maH battery, and Snapdragon 439 octa core processor. The succeeding model 8A/9A all were bigger and 8A even have less RAM.

I don't think there's any more of this around S$130 with those specs.
