hmm in the magisk app is only cts profile failing or both cts and basicintegrity fail? if only cts fail then can try using the magiskhide props config module, can find in the hamburger menu -> downloads.

if both fail then need to revert back to china rom and lock bl.

I managed to get both to pass. DBS and OCBC works fine now though. But still can't use Citibank app. Suspect it detects bootloader unlocked. Anyway to spoof the bootloader?

Since Bootloader is unlocked, easiest way to flash to eu custom rom.
All banking app and gpay will work if you using eu custom rom.

I actually wanted to try the EU ROM but wasn't able to get it to boot up, so I chose the global ROM instead and managed to flash it using the miflash tool.

EU ROM confirm will work? Can confirm particularly for Citibank app? If yes I'll try again I guess..

no need spoof bl. just go to magisk settings, then hide magisk manager. u can name the app whatever u want, apps shouldn't be able to detect it anymore. worked for me with stanchart app.

Just tried that. Sing pass app works but Citi still doesn't! Cleared all data from playstore, deleted and reinstalled the app but still being detected as root device

Yes for me if you have magisk my UOB night app also detect it as root. Google for magisk uninstalled a uninstall.zip go to your preferred recovery and install that zip.

That will remove magisk, after that my UOB might can work Liao. So you can give it a try.

Just here to say goodbye to all the bros here hahaha I finally sold off my K30 Pro and changed to a Poco F2 Pro local set.
From weird issues like Google play services wanting to delete my contacts every time I charge my phone, apps not receiving notifications unless battery saver is turned off and lastly Google services like location history not even working, glad to get rid of my K30 Pro and I will never get another China ROM phone again.

Good for you.
But for me, k30p serve me well. Eu rom loaded with xiaomi dialer and sms app which is a plus for me. No need to use google dialer and sms app since I been using xm phone for many years.

Ya that's nice, idk why the local Xiaomi Poco F2 set uses Google dialer instead of Xiaomi dialer. Maybe 5 years ago I still got the energy to flash ROM and unlock bootloader but nowadays I just want my phone to work properly instead of messing around especially since now got banking apps

i think google officially dont want to allow people to record their calls, so global variant using google dialer.
xiaomi.eu is a mod of the cn miui so its not affected.

Haha totally agree and even then when we are tinkering we are used to those budget phone in the less than 400 bucks range. And we were to pay a pretty penny for a phone like Samsung note and iPhone back in those days we would have expected everything to work right out the box.

But nowadays seems the younger ppl really have buying power to buy a 700-1000 phone to tinker to flash rom in both xiaomi and huawei camp

Is it hard to get bank apps, google pay to work on the K30 Ultra? I read a few pages and it seems like most people having issues because no global ROM?
