The Redmi K60 Ultra carries the following price tags in China.

24gb ram is useless overkill. Android apps dun use that much ram one.

1TB looks good but also overkill since nowadays ppl stream and store content online .
256 to 512 is more than enough.

I dun understand the point of buying k60 ultra besides it's ip 68 rating.

It's core performance is slightly better than gen 2 of k60 pro but better gpu performance in theory .

Rest of the hardware about the same ,reduced resolution but higher brightness.

The Dimensity chip must be much cheaper than the Snapdragon chip.

Yes but comes with few minor compromise 1.5K screen support in specs compared to sd 8 gen2 2K screen support etc rest is abt same . GPU could be better.

Tbh this 9200 + chip is pretty impressive at this price point.

This competition is good for consumers .

I just ordered a K60 Ultra 16+256 configuration for about $511 and $5 cover after all the vouchers. Value for money at this price point. Hope the delivery is smooth and phone is good.

I just installed the banks and SingPass apps. No issue so far. The only part that is not so nice is that WhatsApp contacts load a bit slowly, so it takes about 3-4 seconds before the numbers change to names.

Archiving a possible solution here before I try to remedy later.

Try go to app, manage app. Search for google contact sync. Turn on auto start.

I did not know it was being released.

Anyway, the K60 Ultra is around $500 while the K70 Pro is around $800 for similar specs.

Since it is cheaper, I can upgrade to the next phone faster after 2 years
