I think the current rumor the common newsites reporting is

X6 = Redmi Note 13 Pro , Snapdragon 7s Gen 2
X6 Pro = K70E , Dimensity 8300 Ultra
F6 = K70 , Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
F6 Pro = K70 Pro , Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

Sounds too good to be true already, the marketing narrative is this is Redmi 10th anniversary hence why they are giving back to their fans. The only believable copium is Poco F series had always been Snapdragon lol

And also again the Note 13 series is kinda disappointing....

if you buy from China xiaomi official store and shipped to Sg ,

can you install Whatsapp ? If cannot not , any alternatives provided by Xiaomi ?
tks

Wah that i clueless. But many other here might, like you see those in K60, 12 Turbo threads since those are imported Chinese Rom phones

Hence why I was referencing Poco for their global Rom lol

Noticed F5 series like left not much liao

seems sales very good during 11.11 (probably they will try to clear all remaining sets this 12.12 by offering same discounts as 11.11 or better)

so unless they manufacture a fresh batch to cater year-end hols and CNY promo ie. 1.1 and 2.2

most likely they might push out the F6 series earlier next yr

:giggle:
So far only poco n realme has 1 phone each based on this soc.
SD7+ Gen soc should be quite ex

Doubt F5 production will continue after this batch is sold

If there not selling well the 8/256 and/or 12/256,

they can just change back cover with Poco logo and flash global rom

then repackaged/resell as F5 !!

China rom can install everything. Only android auto and google location history wont work.
I read there could be issues of China rom phones might not be able to tap on 4g/5g network bandwidths.
Does it it mean China rom phones might not work with some Telco networks outside of China?

The bands are different, can look it up on gsmarena for reference and compare with the bands used in SG.
But most should work in SG, overseas will differ.

Certain models have missing bands but will still work in sg. Had been using china rom for many yrs no issue. U can google which bands sg is using and then compare with gsmarena info if u are keen. For usage there wont be any issue.

As owner of a K70 Pro, everything mostly works, except so far a lot of google services a bit buggy (slow) for some reason like google maps, and a really downside is "Hey Google" doesn't work, and forced to use Mi Ai, and its mostly in Chinese, So u cant really use google to control your Google devices with voice commands, you can at least open google assistant from the phone and ask google to do the commands for u, or use google Home directly.

Also the Google Assistant app is very unreliable with this HyperOS, everyday must open and allow google assistant to use Google as main assistant search etc.

Mi Ai also is very smart with all the Chinese Apps like WeChat, Baidu and all Chinese apps, but Mi Ai cant help you open WhatsApp or Instagram etc., everything is searched on Baidu unable to be switch to google. not to mention you can only use Mandarin to voice activate Mi Ai, which I'm not very good with, as i main Canto, but at least u can switch to Canto and will understand Canto, but voice activation still needs Mandarin.

China ROM? If that is the case, my guess is eventually, China ROM phones will abandon GMS.

That is what the Chinese brands end goal is. To no longer rely on Western tech whenever possible.
Basically replicating a Chinese ecosystem similar to the Western ones.
