The star blue Note 11 looks kinda nice like the Huawei P30 but I think if u look closer... there's like tiny glittery stuff...

If want better screen (RN 11 Pro Super Amoled vs RN 10 Pro AMOLED), faster charging and 5G go for RN 11 Pro ..

if chiu avid camera user or like to always beedio (in 4K esp cos the new RN11 Pro chip dun sarpork 4K ISP) then stay with or go for RN10 Pro ..

the only will drop price will be this new RN11 Series cos they're mass producing this for the global market nao.. so maybe from time to time or specific sales date eg. 3.3 , 4.4 , 5.5 etc they will hv promo or huge discounts ..

imho this RM Note 11 series is more like the budget Redmi non-note series... why would anyone even consider 680-695 these days at $200-350+ range?
old flagships 855-870 give miles ahead performance at just slight topup or similar price range

even a 5 years old Poco F1 with SD845 is offering almost on par CPU/memory performance against 695, I just can't imagine how bottlenecked it will be despite having all those nice screen, battery etc

redmi note 11 cpu snapdragon680 is just 33% overclock of the snapdragon 636 of redmi note 5 and mimax3 from year 2018

while is true we can buy older flagships but they are older in reality and not everyone wants a battered and used phone with scratches/user marks.

I saw many arguments that the SD680 is not very new etc but comparing an older phone like MiMax3 or Redmi Note 8... why would I want to fall back to eMMC 5.1, Bluetooth 4.2, etc. (i.e. old technology), just to save $80 or so?

depending on usage, YMMV, but for myself, I think the RN11 4G is more than enough value given the more updated internals like UFS 2.2, 90hz AMOLED, stereo speakers. I don't expect it to run like a Samsung S10e or PocoF1 or Pixel 3 but they have all met their EOL already and barring rooting/flashing ROMs/replacing battery at Ah beng shop, the most straightforward solution is to get a newer tech.

this only applies to RN11 4G (for me). the RN11s & RN11 Pro are a joke with Helio G96 and costing above $300 in 2022, while the RN11 Pro 5G is way too ex for the specs it provides (value ratio drops significantly).

just my 2 cents.

To be fair, Redmi note line overall didn't reduce in quality but also didn't increase in quality significantly. It is continuing its formula of small improvement every release.

It only look bad because it is compared to the other product line Poco at the same price range.

Ironically, both are under Xiaomi, kinda weird that Poco is slapping Xiaomi face but whatever.

Its foreseeable/predictable that this newer RN11 series will notch entice those tech-savvy or specs-eccentric ppl ..

only those with less sexpectation , prefer the additional (capabilities) over the former series and those unsuspecting ppl who know nuts abt specs and its "originality" who will buy ..

for eg. when chiu buy hp definitely the salesperson will say RN11 ish better than RN10 cos its a "newer" model .. if that person want push or hardsell the 5G variant then he/she will say this particular set good cos can sarpork 5G.. where he/she will sexprain in details to chiu abt the CPU functionalities/performance , whether its an old/new chip, whether the cam better or notch compared with the former series etc ..
