Based on specs from Global Mi website, seems like even Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G rear camera video recording maxes out at 1080p. Snapdragon 695 limitation?

The mediatek g96 is capable of 4k30 recording but note 11 and note 11s only able to capture 1080p30. Older note10s can record 4k30 but without eis, very shaky need to use on gimbal.

think they don't want launch dimensity on global redmi note or else might cannibalise the xiaomi series.
China redmi note 11 pro got rebranded as india only overpriced 11i and 11i HyperCharge. Got rumours the poco x4 pro will launch with mediatek 920 too.

well have seen one video reviews on his interview and he said (what xiaomi told him) is that as these 2 phones came out in the same year and they are of the same and it an upgrade over note 9 series but ya like u said and he commented that it feels like xiaomi have taken a few steps back. but to me is like a slight upgrade but not that huge difference (more like an increment verison?)

For the note 11 pro, the screen is upgraded from amoled to super amoled.

However, CPU has a lower clock speed... Camera has a slightly lower spec... Sim card slots are reduced to 2...

that comment is towards the Chinese Redmi Note 11 series, not for the Global Redmi Note 11 series. Xiaomi is doing a different approach for the Chinese and International market currently thus the difference.
