Mine is CN version and yet no such problem so there's no reason why your global version would have that issue.

my problem is the phone often remove my third party launcher permission to use accessibility to lock screen
the note 12 4G model tho

FYI ... I have been using Nova Launcher 7 since day 1 and I use Accessibility option to lock screen. No such issue so far.

China ROM Redmi Note 12 Pro+ here ...

thx for the info, likely launcher issue i guess, i ditched nova for smart recently, nova too many things to set to make it what i want, smart is much simpler

I am deciding between Note 12 and Note 11S for my mother. She mainly uses for calls, WA and watching some YT. Note 12 is ~250 and Note 11S is ~200 in Shopee. Is Note 12 worth the extra $50 as I can't see much difference between the two?

Are those the prices for local set with local Xiaomi warranty?

safest way is to visit any of the 8 physical xiaomi stores to check the actual sets

i did this for rmn11 series, the basic models, no nfc

bobian, cannot guess, cos nfc availability varies from country to country

i have the poco m5, that model has nfc

which processor is better, Snapdragon 4 gen 1 or snapdragon 685?

not sure about snapdragon 4 gen 1, but 685 is marginally worse than the 700series used in the 3 year old poco x3 nfc
