I saw on Aliexpress that they also just began the launch of the Note 12 series with just the vanilla and 5G variants only... same like here so I guess there is still chance that the pro etc might come to sg later...

Thanks for the information. Both phones are very similar. Which will you recommend? Redmi note 12 5g seems to be slightly cheaper at 349 vs 355.

Is the snapdragon 4 gen 1 be comparable to the snapdragon 600 series?
@Wishdom No problem... I guess there are like 2 factors which will determine whether which phone u guys will choose... one is their aesthetic design (since Poco has added their signature big black patch with "Poco" in big bold letters to the phone) and the other is whichever one has the more powerful processor but I dunno which of them is the better one... maybe u guys can go to websites like nanoreview to do a comparison of them...

Still deciding between this Note 12 5G and the Samsung A34 ($100+ more)
A34 with Dimensity 1080 have better performance than the Snapdragon 4 Gen1 on Note 12 5G. Camera wise and software wise may be better depending on your needs.

You will get 4 years of Android version update and 5 years of security updates with A34 also.
