As expected Pro & Pro+ not great anymore, time to move on collect cpf and retire bah

But wow the non-Pro 5G model looking great, kinda on the thinner and lighter side
Huge part is the huge camera upgrade from the chinese model 50mp 1/2.88"OV50D to 108mp 1/1.67" HM6

If it's in the ~$299 msrp range finally have good cpu + camera phone already that's been seriously lacking in this price range for a long time.

Potentially the M8 Pro if also gonna be this RN15 5G also another threat, assuming it's a 50mp 1/1.95" imx882, still good enough and better than the chinese 1/2.88"

The non pro 5G might be 2+3 years like the RN14 5G
Only the non pro 4G model might have long 4+6 update like RN14 4G

Imo they can't give the global RN14 5G(or any phone for that matter) longer update that China also have otherwise their side will complain
And since the 4G model are global only, they're free to "grant" it longer update

Quite unique since nothing really local that matches it

But if can spare, $450+ for 15T should be better, global rom, charger, esim
Or pray wait F8 Pro $450+ again

If is spare and open to import feel like can go more fun options than Redmi Note series where SG can easily get, you there rn buying from physical store?

I'm thinking more like camera focused midrangers:
Realme 16 pro+, 200mp main and 3.5x telephoto (probably the only similar priced)

But Honor 500, Vivo S50, Oppo Reno but those are strangely pricey though

Performance phones have plenty most under 2k rmb and their camera are becoming decent since a large part of it is their better isp which Redmi Note can't fight even with better sensor
