If redmi X coming here for local market den no point get the note 7 riaos.....but concern ish the pricing part.

Can see redmi x will be redmi independence flagship. Will not be same as redmi note 7/ pro
Pricing will be comparable to pocco f1 I think

Think I am right, redmi has decided push the original redmi note 7 pro to become redmi x.
The new redmi note 7 pro is not much different from note 7 will have 660 / 675 with rear finger print sensor and Sony 48 mp sensor
Though from the video, the back seems now is Matt finished, couldn't know is it metal / plastic or glass.
Battery also 4000
Tear drop notch single camera on the front.
Basically can close shop and wait for the redmi X and hope that it has nfc as from my sources redmi x will be close to pocco f1 / MI 8 / lite pricing as it been priced at mid range flagship killer
That only shows that redmi the new company is still very fluid inside and still do not have a solid road map and not in tune with their target customer and was taken off guard the well reception of redmi note 7 and the tremendous anticipation of note 7 pro.
But I must commend them to be agile enough to react to the market and deliver (hopefully) an upgraded phone which the masses wanted and maximise in capitalising it for profit and also brand popularity.
As if big companies like Samsung and Huawei, they might not be able to 1/2 way reverse their pro product and make it into a flagship product in such a short period of time. But Redmi did it. Kudos.
Though I am sad I will not able to get the "original" note 7 pro at a good price but glad that such a good phone is coming

Nah then they will be competing with their own xiaomi branding if in that case. Very obvious with India rising (not risen yet) focus will be on budget and mid range. That's why Samsung came out with M10 and M20
By the way for pricing I am commending in Singapore MI store, if you look from past there is usually a huge jump in pricing when the phone landed in Singapore.
So I expecting the new redmi x will be pricing just below the pocco f1 / MI 8 lite currently (though f2 was believed to be more expensive with the redmi filling the gap)
Hopefully if redmi is serious been an independent brand and not an excuse for xiaomi to push up the pricing of all the future offering, they seriously need to look at having nfc in their "midrange flagship killer" product.

Sorry I am ranting now already, also would.br good for redmi to work with 3rd party to come out official accessories esp when they are targeting youngsters and elderly eg like bumper since they note 7 main selling is the gorilla glass 5 front and back.

15 Feb is killer date. Note7 Global Rom, model X launch and maybe even N7 Pro launch. It is clear signal not to buy Redmi until/ decide 2 weeks later.

Only complaint mainly the cam sensor lol....unless willing to wait for redmi X.
