But f this phone is meant to be secondary phone then have or don’t have nfc doesn’t matter. But if it’s primary daily driver then nfc.

Depending on lifestyle without nfc no payment like android pay (use still able to download android pay and use it for online payment) cannot use for mrt and bus payment.

Nfc pairing but that’s is ok

Crucial for me. I didn't bring my wallet out yesterday to buy cny goods at ntuc. Paid with Google pay.

Payment in China majority are WeChat pay and Alipay which uses QR code so nfc in China not impt compared to in Asia where majority of the payment by nfc
