Yes, currently mi mix 2s using 845 chip, 64G version selling @$499. If mix mix 2 using 835 chip is $399. These is base on official price in Xiaomi shop.

den again i still think that new redmi series wont be getting QC 800 series and most likely will still stuck with 400 and 600 series.

Launch, nope. But the Pocophone F1 was sold for $336 twice, 2-3 months after launch and many times it was below $400. But if they launch the 710 with it, wouldn't the Redmi Note 7 be a better buy since its half the price for similar SoC(660 vs 710)
