Was thinking, will the global Redmi Note 7 be China's Redmi Note 7 Pro and not the standard Redmi Note 7? Such nomenclature inconsistency started with the Redmi Note 5 previously.

No need global. I use mipad also very happy. Just use the google installer and remove those china apps as much as you can and it just works fine.

Pay that price get pocophone lar... UFS 2.1 and SD 845 plus the infra red face unlock is really good. I am addicted to it.. it is the fastest and most reliable unlock for me.
