Is there any bro who previously own a honor 8 pro and bought a redmi note 7 now? I am satisfied with the cam/video quality of the honor 8 pro and wondering if redmi note 7 have at least on par standards.

I wanted to 'downgrade' becuz there is this mobile game(LangrisserM) which im playing now actually feels a little lag on honor 8 pro's kirin 960 but surprisingly smoother on my back up phone redmi 4A's snapdragon 425.. I didnt try comparing other games tho as I mainly play PC game unless mobile got that few i am interested.

My impression of Kirin chip drop considerably.

You should have known that Kirin chip performance really stinks when gaming and multi tasking. Always use Snapdragon chips. They are superior and more consistent.

Avoid Kirin and Mediatek like a plague.

So should avoid getting Huawei Nova 3i which uses Huawei Kirin 710 chipset?

I think a previous post suggested that Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Huawei Nova 3i are comparable value.

Nova 3i is OK. Kirin 710 comparable to snapdragon 660. But I wouldn't get nova 3i because it still uses MicroUSB port and I think it has no 5ghz wifi as well. And the camera is also quite cui with a smaller sensor and at f2.2.

Used to own pocophone F1. Currently have Redmi Note 7. What comparison are u looking for?

Overall comparison, if possible. I won't consider myself a heavy user. Rarely make phone calls, about 1-2 hours of gaming a day, normal whatsapp messaging with family/friends, browsing social media maybe when commuting to fro work/home, won't be using it as music player / drama watching.

I tried to search in google, but not much user comparison. In youtube, its mostly in foreign language or camera/video capture comparison only. So I am wondering if the $100 difference is significant. RMN7 is newer, but specs wise seems like F1 is higher.

Oh ya. I am currently using RMN4, before that I am using RMN2 Pro.

Thanks thanks

Redmi Note 7 still the best mid range budget phone. Good processor, reasonable price, USB C, well design ... You can’t go wrong with this one & I already owned 1 black 4Gb version ... It’s awesome! 👍

Ah...

No doubt is good, I might get note 7 too but u r missing the point...

Nevermind...

Is it a good time to buy the Redmi Note 7 now? The price is about $288 for 4gb ram + 64gb and need to pre-order in shopee. Going to change out my old phone but still usable.

Does that mean on 28 Feb, global rom sets should start to float around already?

Just saw a YouTube, what’s the chances of note 7 pro using 710?

"The Snapdragon 675 chipset is said to be much powerful than even the Snapdragon 710 which powers the Mi 8 SE. But, considering the phone is going to be an affordable phone Qualcomm has reportedly incorporated a slower GPU, less capable ISP, and cost-effective 11nm manufacturing process for the Redmi Note 7 Pro."
