Why are u guys complaining about "local" stock from SG mi stores? U can easily get note 7 a month or 2 back, Mi9 is also readily available on qoo10, lazada, shopee, and they are cheaper. Why bother about whether these phones are stocked locally or not? :o

Some ppl concern about the warranty and the issues of China rom being used outside China region. No playstore, have install yourself which is not that straightforward... Some sellers do offer to help install playstore but they don't always work. Like my RMN7, I ask for playstore and they install one that can't sync, can't sign in etc.... End up have to search online for methods to self install.

I personally think it might just be a good alternative to RMN7. Surprised by the specs given the price (6/128). Kirin 710 may not be as powerful as SD660 though.

Kirin 710 actually scores better than SD660 in antutu. However the GPU of Kirin 710 is weaker than SD660

So if u look at Redmi Note 7 (4/128gb) local price, I believe it will be $349. Huawei P30 lite (6/128gb + 3 camera + 2 years warranty) will be around $379. Hehe! So? Worth?

Between RMN7 349 to P30lite $379 is Poco F1. Which one will you get?

If the priority is the warranty, why don't just go for other brands from huawei/oppo/honor sia. It be a much better choice imo :s12:

Haha I like you bro, you should go say that in the hwz pocco F1 thread, haha you are my perfect example that design is also a merit which you do recognise.

Good for you bro,

Maybe due to my job nature, when one compare between 2 items, need to compare same feature side by side and at most give lesser points to feature one don’t like, but should not invalidate that feature on the competing product just becos it’s not important to oneself.

Actually I don’t like poco f1 (retailing at $450-499) look (cutout + the cheap plastic back). I am more inclined towards Huawei P30 lite.

Several unknown sellers in Lazada selling F1 6/64 $360. F1 is not available in China and has Global Rom. But its design dosent appeal, P30lite looks good. How does P30lite perform with Pubg (vs SD660)?

To be fair, we have to compare all based on local set price. If not, then 6/64 redmi note is only $269. If one can accept the design of pocophone, it is a good choice. But to me, there are better options out there for a cheaper price. P30 lite looks interesting but the launch is ok 6 April. We won’t know the performance until someone tried it.

As of now, the specs looks promising. I wished the screen size is 6.4 instead of 6.1. A bit small
