The fact they still allow you to unlock is good rumoured is that future Redmi phone will not be able to unlock

Yes if you jumped through hoops and not natively supporter by the brand itself what xm / rm did last time was due to their native emegineering in their blood also partly becos they have 2 different version of CN / global rom.

Brand’s like traditional Samsung Sony don’t natively support unlocked boot also partially due to security

But xm overseas are losing a lot of biz due to ppl buying from China and reselling like in Sg hence they are targeting those ppl

When I saw that already sold out liao sadly Is there any difference other than warranty and that local set is global rom while china set is china rom?

i really hate android pie's adaptive icon background, impossible to get rid of the hideous white background unless you install a 3rd party launcher

for those that want to free up more space by uninstalling the google and xiaomi bloatware, use this tool

Able to uninstall the stock camera also? I want to use google camera as my default cam so that my shortcut key are able to enable it when the screen is off.
