I dont get why you are upset with buying the note 7 over the redmi 7...

if you are upset with the note 7 just becus you bought it without knowing they only include 10w charger, it just means u dint do ur due diligence in your research before buying.

Not including a qc4.0 charger at this price point, i dont think its something that we can complain about. Saying that you should have bought the redmi 7 over the note 7 just becus the charger included charges the same speed as the lower end varient is like saying you will buy the iphone 7 over the iphone xs max becus the included charger does not support fast charge.

One possible justification for the lack of qc4.0 availability is the rise of USB C-PD which is the only official/usb recommended way for fast charging. I hope you have researched into how qc charging works over usb. Becus knowing that fact will make u realise why there is lesser adoption for qc charging nowasdays.

redmi 7 don't have qc, redmi note 7's qc cannot use, so there is no difference at the end of the day, out of the box, both redmi 7 and redmi note 7 charge at the same rate.

to use the feature, you need to spend another ~60sgd separately purchased compatible hardware.

if you are getting the phone for your parents, i recommend the 7, chances are your parents won't miss the difference in camera and processor and you won't have to purchase new cables for them.

it's decent mid-entry level phone with a premium phone feel due to the glass back. but both the redmi 7 and note 7 will feel the same way in hand.

A transparent cover is not boring if it shows off the colour of the back of ur phone but if the latter is of a boring colour then there's nothing to show off

Can, need to sign in and bind mi account under developer setting. Then wait for 360hours to unlock bootloader.
Then flash Indian aka global rom.

Hydrogel is super thin film type? I tried once and encounter a lot of bubble and worse cannot reapply since it is very thin and elastic type. Which online seller did you buy from?

Hydrogel is like plastic film (maybe it is). Now it come with an application/guide to assist the user to apply the film on the phone. 3 small bubbles after application but they disappeared the next day. Did not try reapplying because with the applicator/guide and steady hands, the first try went perfect. Bought from Taobao, also available in Aliexpress.

2 weeks back bought my 1st 4/128 Local set with foc qcoins

that right please be mindful that the set i received from empire do NOT come with the imda sticker and the plug is 2 pined
yet to check xiaomi website for warranty authentication

i study both boxes look identical with "global version" clearly printed except the empire set dated 2019.04 & ks set 2019.03
device look identical too

I see. Let me share when i received my set next week. I bought from flower mobile through lazada this morning.
As long as local xiaomi verify the warranty should be ok, even without sticker.
