Thank you!! I downloaded and tried to extract but cannot install until i saw your post. Lol!

was it due to this "the option of "selected update package" is hidden by xiaomi, you need ten taps on the MIUI 10 logo to "unlock" the "additional options"...

a bustard move by xiaomi

hi bro, did you managed to find out?

I went down to Clark Quay (google search still show srv ctr at Clark Quay), but found out that the srv ctr has shifted to Jurong East Jem. Not sure whether want to go down to Jem, too inconvenient to travel down, not worth the time and effort

Just bought a red RMN7 4/64 for my mum at red white mobile... Didn't expect them to be so busy on a weekday afternoon. Also got a mi max 3 for my dad... Happy with the purchase. Easy to migrate data from their old phone using Google "set up from nearby device" function... 👍

how much?

Haven't checked.. but i was told it's 18 months warranty by Xiaomi Singapore. Strangely, the charger is a 2 prong instead of our familiar 3 pin uk type...

Yeah, my local set also use 2 prong charger.

If really want the cheapest, can buy export global set one. It is the same product anyway:)

The Samsung 2019 A series is also putting pressure on price points of Xiaomi and similar products.

The A50 is in direct competition with the Note 7 while the A30 is weaker but still viable with a super AMLOED display.

We have a good showdown on our hands :s13:

275 for 4/64... I didn't have cash and it was pouring, so paid 1% more for using nets

Is the Pro version worth it over the normal one?

Thinking of getting Pro version, found $328 on Qoo10. Is that a good price?

Hi guys, any idea if the sets from Redwhite or Hitec mobile come with Google Play? Both shops seem to offer different warranty terms; 18 mths from Redwhite, 12 mths from Hitec. :o

its a good price considering the minimal markup if its the 128gb model (1599rmb is about $320). however, it is still about half as much more than the non pro rn7, for which you are getting a slightly better cpu and a substantially better camera sensor. the 675 is not that close to flagship level performance and is not half as much better than the 660 cpu wise and neither is the gpu. miui's camera post processing does not seem to push the image quality as well as other oems have done with the same camera sensor too. u also need to consider that there is no proper global version of this phone, so for one, u get fewer lte bands, so if u go like europe might have issue. since there is only china and india set, u can only choose between china rom with no google play services, or indian rom with gplay services but also lots of ads and bloatware.
so to me, no, rn7p is not worth the price increase. better save the $100 and spend on something else.
