note 9s i see price now ish $269, any idea how low will it go during sale? note 8 price for this sale ish still ~$200ish :(

Maybe 249. This is a new model, so I don't expect big discount. But I am watching Poco M3, will they reduce the price even more? Let's see.

M3 is often 179. Anything more than that wld not be exciting. Local seller?

Turn out to be no difference, same good price for m3 & 9s. Thanks anyway.

Yeah, I am not even sure, if we will have a sale again. The biggest sale I miss is the Redmi Note 8 Pro with NFC was sold for like 189 in Jun or October. It never happened again.

deciding between mi 9 with note 8. The price point quite similiar. Which one will be a better choice?

Can't speak of how well Mi 9 software update situation is right now but personally I will choose Mi 9 over Note 8. The update situation for Note 8 Global ROM is just a complete mess now.

Huh?? Sorry you mean redmi note 9 vs redmi note 8 ah? Or are you seriously talking about mi 9 a 2 years old phone (Mi9)?

Though I assume you are talking about note 9 vs note 8 then. Actually unless you are comparing note 9 you gotten it a super value duper sales vs you getting note 8 at super super expensive pricing?

Otherwise note 9 pricing on average closer to note 8 pro and note 8 pro has no issue on updates for global, as I owned a global (sg xiaomi funan warrantied set and an EU set.
EU surely much slower in updates. But global note 8 pro is better. But that update. Note 8 pro in terms of feature is better than note 9 unless you manage to get the note 9 nfc version (regardless you using it or not as we are comparing it objectively).

But by all means still get the note 9 if you like the looks or just want something newer and value for money is not something on your list.

Sorry! I am referring to redmi note 8 and redmi 9

Both are quite closely matched I feel, I believe the processor in the Redmi 9 is slightly better than the one in the Note 8. Boils down to which design you prefer, Redmi 9 is a newer model (launched this year) hence software support will be slightly longer.

1.1 sales coming. Shpee already got hidden prices for X3 and N9Pro. Those who missed the sales last year, fret not. M3 & N8 nothing yet, if you guys see something good, do alert.
