Hi, anyone using export set RMN8Pro with china ROM? Asking as I would like to know if there is any major differences & any restrictions on using apps or functions of phone, e.g NFC function. Also is it possible to get Global ROM on it? TIA.

So far setup yesterday, updated to 10.4.5

Very snappy esp installing can feel the snappiness but also can feel the heat (warmth).

Screen is very good but still slightly lose out to k20 series. Front camera about the same.

It’s global rom but couldn’t tell if it’s EU rom cos normally EU rom has double tap to sleep this one don’t have or if any bro knows where the double tap to sleep please let me know

If can update then shouldn't be fake rom. Last time got some people bought xiaomi phone online then kenna fake rom.

I am always concern about the heat. How about battery life?

TBH there is heat but that’s when I am installing 38 apps (restoring from mi cloud)

Other than that not much heat but warmth and I can say the speed even surpassed my previous Mi9T

As the phone is for my mom I will update after a few days usage by my mom

I need this phone for my taxi business and probably watching youtube or movies. So I am really concern on the performance and durability of battery.

Then you should be looking at 675, 712 soc with 5000mah battery and global rom as cn rom tend to have notification issue (as I also used to be driver and experienced with my redmi pro . Also MediaTek soc) then I passed to my mom and switched to RMN4 but 625 cannot catch up esp during those time you need fast response and Low latency and good gps for call grabbing / fighting with other Drivers
